I’m a crafter, fangeek, and the lucky momma of two little blonde daddy-clones–we spend our days doing elaborate art projects, trashing the house, eating cheese cubes and oranges, and waiting for my partner to get home from his day job so we can pester him. I create items for creative kids and fangeek adults out of primarily recycled materials; scratched vinyl records, vintage superhero T-shirts, and badly-written comic books are NOT safe around me. And the best part (in my opinion) is that I do it all with the help of my two very goofy very little girls.

I make re-useable all in one cloth diapers, which means they have absorbent layers and a waterproof layer. I love the idea of re-using items instead of filling up the landfills. It is also healthier for babies. I also make wetbags for cloth diapering on the go, patches, cloth playfood, and I decorate baby t-shirts and onesies. A lot of the fabric I use is recycled.

I make purses, birds and monkeys from recycled wool sweaters and jeans. I also make needle felted pincushions from new wool roving. My husband makes cutting boards and kitchen utensils and garden accessories from native missouri hardwoods which have often been salvaged from fallen trees.
