Green, eclectic, and set apart is probably the best description of my work. It varies from vegan dog biscuits to green laundry detergent to newly painted vintage furniture ceramics. As long as I’ve been creating I haven’t found myself ever drawn to just one medium and I absolutely love when I get reactions from customers telling me how “clever” or “unique” my products are. I massively enjoy taking something seemingly useless and creating a new fabulous and functional piece (including bowls, wall art, boxes, pillows, LED candles etc.). I looked at it as being “green” before it was a buzzword. As well as making art from my thrift store finds I also make affordable green cleaning supplies and laundry detergents that only contain essential oils, 100% biodegradable ingredients, are completely vegan and have been perfected by cleaning up my own messes. I don’t sell any products that my family and I don’t use on a regular basis.

Needle Nouveau

I use the traditional techniques of hand stitched embroidery to make up-to-date pieces. I especially love Art Nouveau designs, and most often make pillows. Although I’m not opposed to using iron-on kitten transfers on dish towels, I usually make items that are more challenging, with more complicated designs.
