I create hand-thrown, high fired pottery. All of my pottery is glazed and food and oven safe. I make pottery because I love creating things with my hands, especially with the medium of clay since it's so wonderfully messy and alterable.

I play with polymer clay, yarn, and draw on cups that I've found in thrift stores. I can't make my mind on which mediums I like most, so I experiment with many. I love making plastic bags into something I can crochet with, silkscreening, painting, drawing, clay...anything! I just dive into my creative world and splash with colors, yarn, paint, clay, anything I can get my hands onto to make a happy place.

My passion is wheel thrown, functional pottery. I love rich, intense colors and subtle details. My pieces are delicate, yet durable enough to be used and enjoyed everyday. I want them to be a part of someone's life, not just fade into the background. Art is meant to enrich our lives.
