Crafts from Aleecesattic range from altered canvas to handmade cards and tags from recycled materials to jewelry and mini albums made from different found materials. I craft each and every day. You will find things for yourself, your kids, your friends, and your home. Lots of things made from paper, scraps of paper, and recycled items, as I am an avid scrapbooker and teach scrapbook classes at a local scrapbook store. I love to use all mediums in crafting and put them all together. My style is very vintage with an altered twist. I like bright colors and use all of them. Be Creative!!!!

I create art journals, scrapbook embellishments, cards, tags, collage, fabric pins/brooches and lots of altered items made with recycled and vintage found materials for items for the home. I am an average everyday mom with a spark for life using creativity through my art. My style is elegant whimsy with bright colors, glitter, ribbon, fabric, paper, while using many different art mediums. I am a member of the ShowMeEtsy Street Team. I also work part time at a local scrapbook store and teach others about arts and crafts.

I make purses, birds and monkeys from recycled wool sweaters and jeans. I also make needle felted pincushions from new wool roving. My husband makes cutting boards and kitchen utensils and garden accessories from native missouri hardwoods which have often been salvaged from fallen trees.

Paper is the beginning of all my art. Paper makes all things in my art studio become useful like a gardener’s tools provide for his growing. For me one loose piece of paper or even one speck of a printed image is a compelling invitation to engage with an idea, an opportunity to plant an art seed, the essence of this visual dialog i am developing with myself and others. Specifically,working with paper, pigment and adhering modalities, my ideas become communications, plans become structures. My structures become containers for more ideas, more paper and grandeur or functional structures.
