Vendor Application for Artists and Crafters

Whether you are just starting out on your art or crafting venture, or have an established indie label, Strange Folk may just be the kind of rebel friendly venue you've been looking for! There is no fee to apply, but all applications will be juried by organizers on aesthetics and originality. We will fill 120 vendor spaces and choose 10 alternates. Importers, large corporations, and distributors need not apply, but are welcome to participate as sponsors of the event.

If you belong to a craft group or organization that would like to share a space, please fill out our Vendor Application for Craft Groups. Keep in mind that anyone selling with a group will not have their brands individually listed on our roster. Also, this option is only available for tent spaces.

We have no problem receiving applications 99% of the time. Still, it's a good idea to copy/paste any descriptive text into a different document until you have confirmed that your app has been submitted correctly. A copy of this form will automatically be sent to the e-mail address you have provided. If you do not receive that shortly after submitting, it means your app wasn't sent to us either. Participation Options

The Strange Folk Festival is an outdoor event in a large park setting. Though we do not base our decision on what option you choose, this gives us an idea of how the grounds map will look early on. Your options for setting up shop*are:

1. Provide your own tent and bring your own display/tables. Maximum tent size allowed is 12ftx12ft.
2. Rent a sheltered table inside our large pavilion. They measure 2.5ftX6ft with space behind the table for seats and personal items. You may set up any display you like on the tables, but floor displays are subject to approval. You will likely have other vendors right next to you on each side. This is not an ideal choice for anyone who sells large or breakable items.

Aside from the 120 slated spots, we will choose 10 alternates. Inevitably, a few vendors either cancel or fail to send their registration. If you are chosen as an alternate, you may be contacted up to 2 weeks before the festival to fill a vacant space. You can opt out if this is not enough time for you to prepare for the show.
