I batik clothing and material to sew into pillows, scarves, wall hangings and the occasional lamp shade. The batik process involves painting cloth with melted wax, then dyeing the material. The waxed areas resist the dye except where the hardened wax has cracked, producing the spiderweb effect characteristic of batik. The waxing and dyeing can be repeated as many times as necessary to achieve multiple colors and more varied designs. Or the wax can be completely removed and reapplied in different areas to get an even broader spectrum of colors. The final process is removing the wax from the material. The end result is a colorful and unique creation

Color can be a real mood changer. Color can make you happy! Face it, life’s more fun in tie dye! Everybody can benefit from a little more zing, a little more fun! And because I don’t want to leave anybody out of that – it’s always been very important to me to have it in sizes to fit everybody! I’ve been tie dying professionally since 1998. Experimentation is my thing, I’m always mixing new color combinations & trying new designs. During the last twelve years, I’ve learned to make a lot of new designs: several variations on the standard spiral, peace signs, hearts, guitars, butterflies, flowers, mandalas, and most recently – the neck tie design. You’ll find many items for infants (hats, onesies, blankets, bibs, etc.), t shirts to fit just about anybody you know (up to an adult 6X), scarves, bandanas, undies. I also make tie dye jewelry and we make guitar pick earrings. So many ways to add color to your world!
