Facebook Raffle!

Starting today, every day leading up to the festival, we will post new raffle prizes(awesome handmade merchandise!) on our Facebook Page that vendors has pledged. The vendor will get a Facebook mention - a description of the prize and a link to their vendor listing on our website (with the pic thumbnail). The status will begin with the Date and "RAFFLE PRIZE" in all caps, because we know you love reading things in all-caps. 2011 Festival Activities and Exhibits

More than just a craft show, Strange Folk Festival is an event that entertains, educates, nurtures, and strengthens the community. The Southern IL Artisan Guild will be hosting a variety of craft demos including weaving, spinning, wood carving and more. Kids will squeal with delight at the activities just for them -- a mushroom playhouse, giant sandbox, alpaca petting zoo, hands-on crafts with the Girl Scouts and Discovery School, handmade hula hoops to whirl, and performances by top-spinner HiTadah. Knitters Please…Yarn Bomb Strange Folk!

You are cordially invited to yarn bomb the trees(or anything else) at Strange Folk Festival 2011! We are crowd-sourcing our decorations this year! The following are some front and center specimens, and their measurements. Knit/crochet sumin' pretteh!
